FOE Career Counselors
Dear All FOE students,
Please be informed that the Faculty has appointed Career Counselors for every FOE undergraduate programmes.
(Career Counselors are NOT to be academic advisors of Faculty; nor to be counselling advisors the service is given by STAD).
Roles of Career Counselors:
> It is meant for advising students what kind of jobs and prospects etc.
> To assist students to have an idea of their future career paths that match their aspirations and competencies through the process of self reflection and self assessment.
> Some students have clear ideas of what they want to achieve in their careers but many others need help to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to plan their own development in a structured manner.
> Career Counselors are expected to listen to the outcomes of students? self reflections and to assist and guide students in the self-analysis processes using tools such as self-help questionnaires, workshops, seminars by MMU graduates to become realistic in what to expect upon graduation etc.
